Championship Week Highlights and Notes
- The Championships will be held on Sunday, July 29, at Glenview’s Community Park West
- Playoff games start on Wednesday, July 25 (in most divisions) to allow for Friday as an off-day/rainout makeup date.
- Higher seeds host all games until Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday game times are set for 5:30 pm. These may not be modified unless you are on a lighted field, and only then by mutual agreement and my notification.
- Saturday game times are pre-set and may not be modified, except by permission of the LSFBL rules committee. These are still hosted by the higher seed. Requests for Saturday game changes must be received by 9 am on Friday morning, July 20th, to [email protected]
- Host teams are required to arrange for two (2) umpires for each game until the championships. LSFBL will reimburse hosting communities for their umpires.

8U Division:
Edgebrook II wins Championship over Buffalo Grove I
- The Championship will be held on Sunday, July 22, 3:00 PM at North Park, Lincolnshire
- Playoff games start on Wednesday, July 18, to allow for Friday as an off-day/rainout makeup date.
- Higher seeds host all games until Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday game times are set for 5:30 pm. These may not be modified unless you are on a lighted field, and only then by mutual agreement and my notification.
